Compare only within a group. The I-214 loop bands run 44,499–53,859 acres;
the I-14 approach bands run 15,685–29,150. Ranking a loop option against an approach
segment compares different lengths of road and means nothing.
Addresses = 9-1-1 address points inside the full mile-wide band, end to end
(county 911 / Texas CSEC, via I14AddressPoints) — one point per
addressable location. Per 1k ac normalises for band size;
lowest marks the lowest density in each group.
An address point is a proxy for a developed property, not a building count:
unaddressed outbuildings, barns and sheds are excluded, and addressed vacant parcels may
be included. Apartments are counted per unit, but that barely affects these bands —
multi-unit records run 0.1–0.4% on the loop routes and under 5% on the approaches.
These are not displacement counts. The final right-of-way is roughly
400 ft, about 8% of the band width, so actual displacements will be a fraction of
these figures. Use them to compare alternatives, never as a count of homes taken.
Colors distinguish the routes compared in the table below; remaining alternatives
are shown in muted tones.

follows it. Grid cells of summed appraised value ÷ summed parcel acres; each parcel is
spread over its own footprint, so a 1,000-acre ranch reads thin and a platted subdivision
reads hot.

Both revert when you switch it off. Address points
— in dense areas their alpha accumulates and buries the surface. They come back
when you switch it off.

Sources: nine county appraisal district parcel services. Owner names and mailing
addresses were not requested or stored.
Robertson County's GIS service publishes all value fields as
zero. Market values for the 1,306 Robertson parcels inside a corridor or the SH 6 area
were taken from that district's own property search and substituted, so Robertson areas
including Hearne are populated here.

not displacement counts — the final ROW is roughly 400 ft, about 8% of the band width.

SH 30 project
TxDOT's SH 30 at the Navasota River project — 2.9 mi, three 1958 bridges
replaced, letting scheduled 2027 — falls inside five conceptual alternatives:
C4 (66% of its length), E4 (59%), and C1/C2/C6 (35% each). C3 and C5 do not overlap it.
Published section: four lanes with a centre two-way left-turn lane, 10 ft
shoulders, 120–200 ft of right of way, at-grade access retained.
